Guru Dev Singh (1948\u20132021) was born in Puebla, Mexico, during a time when the youth of Mexico were rediscovering the spiritual roots of their country. He was drawn to the indigenous traditions of his homeland, studying under a Mexican medicine healer and later, embracing Kundalini Yoga in 1971 after meeting Yogi Bhajan.\u00a0<\/p>

By 1978, he had begun to learn Sat Nam Rasayan from Yogi Bhajan in silence, a method allowing a deep connection to the Sacred Space. This experience led to Yogi Bhajan abruptly ending the formal teaching, marking Guru Dev Singh’s transition towards mastery. Recognizing his potential, Yogi Bhajan entrusted him in 1992 with the responsibility of preserving the lineage and teachings of Sat Nam Rasayan. Guru Dev Singh embraced this role wholeheartedly, moving to Rome, where he established the International School for Sat Nam Rasayan and later the Sat Nam Rasayan Foundation in Amsterdam.<\/p>

Throughout his life, Guru Dev Singh became a revered figure in the global spiritual and healing community, known for his compassionate approach, integrating humor and deep insight into his teachings. His commitment to spreading the knowledge of Sat Nam Rasayan was recognized in 2001 when he received an honorary doctorate from the faculty of medicine at the open university of Colombo ( in Sri Lanka) for his outstanding contributions to natural medicine.<\/p>
